On Saturday dawn, many Israeli military vehicles invaded Beita town, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, stormed and ransacked homes, and fired gas bombs, causing dozens of Palestinians, including one infant, to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
Eyewitnesses said the army began the invasion shortly after midnight before the military vehicles isolated and invaded several neighborhoods.
They added that the soldiers stormed and violently searched many homes, leading to excessive property damage.
The soldiers fired gas bombs and concussion grenades randomly at many homes, causing dozens of suffocation injuries, including an infant who suffered the severe effects of tear gas inhalation.
Also, dozens of military vehicles closed various streets and neighborhoods in the town while the soldiers imposed a tight siege, barring the Palestinians from entering or leaving it.
